Our Story
Everyone who works at Taylor Made Media has a broadcast television background, which means that before we worked with businesses we made prime-time programming for the BBC, ITV, E4 and Channel 4. This strong editorial background means that we understand audiences, we know what they want to watch and how to keep them watching.
But we go further than that. All the content we make is developed to create a response from your viewer - it might be to prompt them to find out more about your services, buy your product, forward the film to a friend or just to get them talking about your brand.
Our Team
Our team have one thing in common, we share a genuine passion for making the best films we possibly can and we're really enthusiastic about what we do. We have an exciting and diverse mix of highly skilled professionals from directors, producers, writers and art directors, to designers, music composers, animators and editors. And our network reaches far and wide, meaning we can work all over the world. In the last year alone we've filmed in Peru, Ecuador, Germany, Italy, Australia, Holland, Turkey and the USA.
Our Founder
Sophie Taylor launched Taylor Made Media in August 2010. Prior to this she advised brands on the potential of online video, ran the film unit for the Conservative Party during the successful 2010 election and worked for 12 years in prime-time television with directing credits that include Gordon Ramsay's F-Word, BBC Holiday and The RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Last year she was made a member of 'Courvoisier: The Future 500' joining a talented network of UK entrepreneurs.
We Believe...
..that first and foremost Taylor Made Media is a business, but we also want to give something back. So for every 8 projects you commission with us, we will shoot, edit and deliver a film for your chosen charity within the UK so that they can tell their story too. It could be a film about a charity that your business sponsors and that highlights your CSR role. Or it could be a film about a charity that has nothing to do with your company whatsoever, but whose work you admire. Either way, it's our small contribution to making the world a happier place.
